Our second day started pretty late. Mostly because we were all whining that we all lack sleep and an airconditioned room puts the icing on top of our bumming. Haha.
After taking a bath and eating our scrumptious breakfast (prepared by Jhacel of course), we already said our goodbyes and see you agains. We then head for the town's plaza, to ride on a UV van bound for Naga that will drop us of at CamSur Watersports Complex.
Upon arriving at the plaza, we were welcomed by a very long line of passengers bound to Naga. With a limited number of vans and a lot of people going to Naga (I think it was the last day of the feast of Our Lady of Peñafrancia), we got stranded in the plaza for a couple of hours before we were able to board a van. Whew.
Upon arrival to CWC, I was in awe with the whole complex, it wasn't what I imagined. After the entrance we were welcomed by lanes of cabins that you would normally see in secluded private islands and its main attraction, a man-made lake that serves as their wakeboarding park. I thought the complex was next to the beach based on photos I previously saw in the net. Joke's on me. Haha. Anyways, we didn't stay there long as it is already noon and we still have some places to go prior our early departure to Manila. We, still however, took sometime to take some pictures for souvenir.
We grab some lunch in my friend's house in Naga, you will not feel the fiesta vibe unless you're able to eat at local's house, then of we went to the Our Lady of Peñafrancia's Cathedral.
We weren't able to attend the mass due to time constraint and that we are not dress accordingly (we wore our mass approriate dresses yesterday). So we just say our prayers, took some photos, buy some more souvenirs, and leave. We left Naga at around 2:00 PM.
At around 6:00 PM, we made a stop over in Gumaca, Quezon to have our dinner. We were all mesmerized by the view of the sea during twilight. The shot I took look as if it has filter on it, its just so wonderful. Maybe it was because of the absence or minimal light noise that made the whole scene so cinematic.
To finish of our trip, I waited for us to reach the famous Bitukang Manok (Chicken Intestines) Road in Atimonan, Quezon before dozing off. It was named that way because of how the road looked so similar to chicken intestines. It was a road created going up and down a mountain. See video below at x8 speed. Haha.
